On Wednesday, April 24th 2023, from 15:00 to 17:30, the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Bau at the Ruhr University Bochum is offering a workshop on the topic of “Digitisation in existing buildings with AI”. The workshop will provide a basic understanding of the digitisation of existing buildings and give an insight into the use of machine learning methods in the construction industry and the potential of AI in this area. Among other things, some BIMKIT services will also be presented.
With the BIMKIT demonstrators for segmenting damage in images, recognising MEP elements in images and recognising text in plans, we are addressing our potential users in order to present the areas of application of AI in the construction industry. Feedback from participants is an important part of evaluating our results.
