The Federal Chamber of German Architects is an association of the sixteen state chambers of architects in Germany. It represents the interests of 135,000 architects of all disciplines towards politics and the public on a national and international level.

The Federal Chamber of Engineers represents the joint interests of the 16 state chambers of engineers and campaigns for the interests of around 45,000 engineers throughout Germany and Europe.

The BPS International group is a building planner and developer of BIM-based technologies. The group brings together architects, engineers and IT specialists. The focus is on building information models (BIM) and efficient solutions for property operations using 4D/5D tools and the collection of building data.
BPS International acts as a planner as well as a developer, investor and operator of properties.

The Federal Industrial Association for Technical Building Equipment, based in Bonn, represents the collective interests of its members at the national and European level. It advocates uniform job profiles and regulations for the exercise of the profession in the field of installation of components and systems for technical building equipment.

The Bundesverband Bausoftware e.V. (German Federal Association for Construction Software) unites software and IT companies from the fields of architecture, civil engineering, specialist planning, construction, manufacturing and product manufacturers. We pursue a common goal: strengthening the performance, innovative strength and sustainability of the construction industry through the use of construction software and construction IT.

The Bundesvereinigung Mittelständischer Bauunternehmen (Federal Association of Small and Medium-Sized Construction Companies) has been active throughout Germany since 1964 in Bonn and is not bound by collective bargaining agreements. It represents the economic, market and competitive interests of its small and medium-sized member companies at the political level and to clients from all construction sectors.

The German Institute for Standardization (DIN) is the independent platform for standardization in Germany and worldwide. Together with industry, science, the public sector and civil society, DIN makes a significant contribution to opening up future fields. As a co-shaper of the digital and green transformation, DIN makes an important contribution to solving current challenges and enables new technologies, products and processes to establish themselves on the market and in society.
Around 36,000 experts from business and research, from the consumer side and the public sector contribute their expertise to the standardization process, which DIN manages as a privately organized project manager. The results are market-driven norms and standards that promote global trade and serve rationalization, quality assurance, the protection of society and the environment, and safety and understanding.

DEUBIM is a consulting company specialized in the digital transformation of the construction and real estate industry. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the core competence of the company, which helps national and international clients to generate added value through digitalization. In cooperation with POS4 Architekten Generalplaner, DEUBIM also provides holistic BIM-compliant architecture and general planning services. Due to the close cooperation with POS4, the work is very practice-oriented and ensures the feasibility of our consulting services in the context of trials (BIM pilot projects).

The Fachverband Baustoffe und Bauteile für vorgehängte hinterlüftete Fassaden e.V. (FVHF), based in Berlin, has brought together manufacturers and fabricators as well as planning and consulting engineers since 1993. The task of the FVHF is to act as an “opportunity and idea provider”, to advocate for the construction method of the ventilated curtain wall (VHF) as a whole, its functions, properties and components, and to intensively promote products and systems and their application through cooperation with and between members.

The GdW Bundesverband deutscher Wohnungs- und Immobilienunternehmen e.V. (Federal Association of German Housing and Real Estate Companies) is the umbrella organization of the 14 regional housing and real estate associations, in which around 3,000 housing companies and cooperatives are organized. They manage a total of around 6 million apartments in which over 13 million people live, including around 61% of Germany’s social housing. This membership structure makes GdW the leading association of the German housing industry.

As the upper state authority, Hessen Mobil designs and manages the superordinate road network in Hesse: Federal and state roads with a total length of more than 10,000 kilometers. In addition, district roads are managed by Hessen Mobil on behalf of the counties. With around 2,500 employees, Hessen Mobil creates the basic conditions for the mobility of people and goods in Hessen.

The Federation of the German Construction Industry (HDB) is the umbrella organization of the construction industry in Germany. Together as a family of associations, we are strong at all levels – from the local to the state to the national level. With ten state associations and seven trade associations as extraordinary members, we represent large and medium-sized, often family-run companies in the construction industry.

IPS – Immobilien- und Projektmanagementgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH, a state company, realises major new builds, conversions and extensions (GNUE) for the state of Saxony-Anhalt. Exemplary projects include the new construction of the State Office of Criminal Investigation and the new construction of prisons. As a cadastre, Madaster is an important part of an entire ecosystem consisting of traditional real estate stakeholders and academia, product manufacturers, the recycling industry, and other digital platforms on BIM and building products

mixadata has extensive BIM implementation expertise and developed Continuous Data Management as a precursor to BIM back in 1996. The company takes on management tasks for BIM pilot projects and pure BIM projects in road and rail construction as well as in building construction. mixadata supported the development of the BIM guidelines of DB Station & Service AG and trains management in the introduction of BIM. In addition, mixadata provides client support and management services in infrastructure and building construction projects in all service phases. In interim management, public clients and engineering firms are supported in critical project tasks.

The Scalypso software developed by Ingenieurbüro Dr. König is used for simple and intuitive evaluation of 3D point clouds. Via a real-time interface, 3D elements calculated from the point cloud are transferred to CAD. The model creation and generation of the BIM model takes place continuously on the CAD side without any conversion losses. This workflow enables the efficient digitization of extensive projects in the construction industry.

ZPP INGENIEURE – a company of the SOCOTEC Group – has been successfully providing civil engineering services for over 45 years. More than 330 experts at fourteen locations throughout Germany are active in consulting, planning, testing, maintaining and assessing in all areas of civil engineering, primarily in highly complex construction projects. The Department of Digital Architecture at the Technische Universität Berlin is an associated partner. One research focus of the department is the development of AI assistance methods for decisions in the design, planning, operation, and renovation of buildings. In particular, the goal is to make AI methods useful for energy efficiency and sustainability in building. Component-oriented machine learning (ML) is an important method developed at the department that enables the integration and reuse of trained ML models in digital building models

The German Association of Consulting Engineers brings together around 2,000 engineering, consulting and architecture companies with more than 41,000 employees. They plan and develop buildings and infrastructure that improve people’s lives and last for generations.
