What can BIMKIT do? How is AI applicable in the construction industry?
Find out during the annual conference on 24.06.2022 in Berlin, where the first results of the intensive research will be presented.
As a keynote, Dr. Wojciech Samek (Fraunhofer HHI) will present future trends in AI and possible applications in the construction industry. In the second keynote, Dr. Daniel Forsmann from Deutsche Bahn will explain how BIM is used at DB Netz AG and why better as-built recording is so important for this. In addition, the topic of as-built recording will be examined from various perspectives during a panel discussion.
There will also be a report on the project results: Prof. Markus König will present the developments in the BIMKIT project so far and show how and where the BIMKIT methods can be applied. In the following, the evaluation of images and point clouds will be addressed by Prof. Peter Eisert (HHI) as well as the evaluation of construction plans and images by Heinrich Fröml (Hottgenroth Software AG). How AI services can be orchestrated within Gaia-X will be presented by Alexander Burbeck (NT.AG).
In the afternoon, another highlight will follow: at the exhibitor forum, we will offer our guests the opportunity to get in touch with our research. The consortium partners will demonstrate the first prototypes and concepts here and are eager to exchange ideas and suggestions.
